Encampment Director Training (Online)
Webinars are always free, although registration is required. Recordings will be made available within one week of the live session.
Encampment Director Training is required for the coordinator of service unit or community camping. Prerequisites for Encampment Director Training include: Past participation in one encampment, Brownie Camping or Monster Camping event; or have significant experience camping with Girl Scouts. Must have completed Tent Camping Training and be a Troop Camper. During an encampment, the encampment director may not have primary responsibility for a troop. Although First Aid/CPR certification is not required, it is an excellent addition to any Encampment Director's training.
