Encampment Director Training (ALC - Burlington)

Required for coordinators of service units or large group camping experiences. Prerequisites: Past participation in one encampment, Brownie Camping or Monster Camping program; Troop Camping Skills—Tent. The session covers requirements and responsibilities of an encampment director; assessing service unit and/or group readiness; timeline for planning; safety policies and procedures; girl-led planning and implementation; program ideas; property information. We recommend completing this course nine months to one year prior to date of encampment.
