Girl Scouts Get the Dirt on Green Cuisine
An eco-minded troop of Girl Scouts from Quincy were been invited by Chef Jose Duarte to get a taste of “green” gourmet. A leader in the green movement, Taranta owner and Chef Jose Duarte offered to give the girls a hands-on lesson in sustainable food. The girls are currently working on the “Sow What?” book which is part of the new Girl Scouts “Journeys” book series teaching how to nurture your body and the planet at the same time.
