  • Cookies for a Cause

    Cookies for a Cause

On March 21, nearly 700 Girl Scouts and their families attended our Cookies for a Cause event at Hanscom Air Force Base, donating more than 30,000 packages of cookies to military serving overseas. Girls personally thanked Airmen and wrote letters to those serving abroad.

Girl Scouts of Eastern MA works with CarePacks in South Weymouth, New England Center for Homeless Veterans in Boston, Helping our Troops in Stoneham, and Operation Troop Support in Danvers, to ship the cookies and cards to military members. Our thanks to these organizations for the work they do.

See photos from the event, read Girl Scouts' reactions or watch what happened at Hanscom.
