Girl Scout Cookie Program

The cookie sale is a leadership program. The largest girl-led business in the world, it provides a valuable lesson in financial literacy, teaching girls five essential life skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics. The Girl Scout Cookie Sale Program starts on 12/11/2015 and will run through 3/4/2016.

Woo-hoo, it's nearly Cookie Time! The Girl Scout Cookie Sale Program starts on 12/11/2015 and will run through 3/4/2016. Cupboards will be open starting on 12/11/2015. We will post locations, contact info, and hours as soon as they are finalized. Troops will be able to place orders in the online cookie ordering system, SNAP, starting 12/1/2015 for pickup in cupboards as soon as they open on 12/11/2015. Logins will be available on 12/1 for those who have completed cookie volunteer agreements.

Council Organized Booth Sales (COBS) will be available in SNAP again this year. The deadline for entry into the lottery is 12/15/2015, and the COBS lottery covering opportunities for the entire cookie season will run on 12/16/2015.

Please make sure now that your troop is set up with a troop bank account! You will need that to participate in the cookie sale as troop cookie payments are made by bank account debit. To confirm your troop bank account information for cookie payments, please complete and submit a voided check using this form.

  • Troop Training Materials

One of the most useful resources for troops is the Troop Cookie Book. If this is your first cookie sale, you might want to read through Cookie Lingo first, just so you don’t get stumped by cookie sale acronyms!  Be sure to take a few minutes to review the troop training materials, too.

As a troop cookie advisor, you should have a kit of materials and each girl in your troop should have a girl cookie sale kit  These should come from your service unit cookie manager (you have one unless your town is on this list) or from the council if you don’t have a cookie manager in your area.
