S.H.A.R.E. Annual Fund
Support Her Activities, Resources and Experiences. Every dollar donated is an investment in our girls.
What is S.H.A.R.E.?
S.H.A.R.E. (Support Her Activities, Resources, and Experiences) is a council‐wide request for financial support from Girl Scout families, volunteers and friends. Gifts to the S.H.A.R.E. Annual Fund are unrestricted, and benefit programs and services for the 40,000 girls and 17,000 adult volunteers we serve. S.H.A.R.E. offers families and friends the opportunity to show their belief in and support of Girl Scouting through a financial gift that is over and above their generous gifts of time and talent.
Donations to the S.H.A.R.E. Annual Fund help us bridge the significant gap between fees charged and actual program costs. It costs GSEM $315 to support one girl in Girl Scouting for a year. Of the $25 girl registration fee, $15 goes directly to our national organization. Revenue from our product sales, program and camp fees total $247 per girl. That leaves $68 per girl to raise from donors like you.
Please consider showing your belief in Girl Scouts by making a donation that is personally meaningful to you. New donors of $19.12 (or more) will automatically join a special recognition category called the Friendship Circle. Donate online by clicking here.
