Give the Gift of Girl Scouting: Make the world a better place by making a gift that will help build tomorrow's leaders!

Why Give to Girl Scouts
For 100 years, Girl Scouts has done more than any other organization to provide leadership opportunities specifically for girls. Our alumnae are living proof of the positive impact of Girl Scouting in the world.
At any given point in time, approximately 10 percent of girls are Girl Scouts, yet:
- Eighty percent of women business owners were Girl Scouts.
- Sixty-nine percent of female U.S. Senators were Girl Scouts.
- Sixty-seven percent of female members of the House of Representatives were Girl Scouts.
- Virtually every female astronaut who has flown in space was a Girl Scout.
America's most accomplished women in public service, business, science, education, the arts and community life are Girl Scout alumnae. In 2012, we will mark 100 years of Girl Scouting.
Our goal is to support every girl with the opportunity to be the leader she wants to be, and the leader the world needs her to be. Join us in making a promise to girls that every girl in this generation will reach her fullest potential, wherever she lives, whatever challenges face her and however great the journey to what she can become. CAMPERSHIP CAMPAIGN
Have you ever thought about what a Girl Scout camp experience gives to a girl?
- Courage…to reach the top of the climbing wall…to take a horse over a jump …
- Confidence…to be away from home overnight…to make new friends…
- Character…to make good decisions…to resolve conflict peacefully…
Every summer, Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts offers quality camp programming to more than 5,000 girls. For many of these girls, the dream of going to camp would be out of reach without some form of financial support. Last year, we provided camp scholarships to more than 450 girls giving them the experiences that only Girl Scout camp can provide. In order to provide the opportunity to attend camp to as many girls as possible we are asking for your help. A contribution of $300 will fund a full week of day camp. Your support will bring the Girl Scout camp experience to a girl this summer, and provide her with opportunities to build the courage, confidence and character that will help to shape her into the leader of tomorrow.
S.H.A.R.E. Family Partnership
S.H.A.R.E/Family Partnership Campaign donations are an essential part of the success of Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts. The campaign funds local safety training for volunteers working with girls, helps maintain accessible camp properties, and subsidizes fees to keep programs attainable and cost-effective for every family. We hope to every Girl Scout family will participate at a level that is meaningful to them.
- The $12 registration fee for each Girl Scout goes to Girl Scouts USA, and does not stay within the council.
- The actual cost of supporting your Girl Scout each year is $286.
- 100% of monies from the SHARE Family Partnership campaign stay within the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts council and your local communities.
- And 10% of all SHARE Family Partnership dollars are returned to your Service Unit where you and your girls can make decisions locally on what activities and projects you want to expend it on.
Your family's gift to the S.H.A.R.E./Family Partnership Campaign creates new opportunities for girls to develop courage, confidence and character on their path to success. You can make your gift online today. Learn more in this letter from the S.H.A.R.E. Campaign Chairperson (PDF)
