    STEPS TO JOINING:

    1.  Contact your nearest Service Center for information on Girl Scouting in your community.
    Go to Service Center contact list.
     

    2.  Register, by submitting a Girl or Adult Registration Form and the annual membership fee of $12.00, which will be forwarded to Girl Scouts of the USA in New York. Send to: GSEM, 95 Berkeley St, Boston, MA 02116

    3.  Within about two weeks, you will be contacted about available troops in your community.

    The Girl Scouts Research Institute’s landmark study of girls, Change It Up!, tells us that girls today want to lead by inspiration rather than authority. The New Girl Scout Leadership Experience is inclusive and empowering, encouraging cooperative learning while helping girls to develop the skills to lead.

    Girls want to be the kind of leader who "stands up for her beliefs and values," and "tries to change the world for the better." The New Girl Scout Leadership Experience is inclusive and empowering, encouraging experiential and cooperative learning.

    WHY JOIN?


    Maybe you’re a science genius or an aspiring writer. Want to try rock climbing or archery? Do you like to ride horses or perform in theatre productions? Girl Scouts is for you! All girls in grades K-12 are invited to join!

    If there isn’t a troop that works for you, consider becoming a independent member. You can do the same things, earn the same awards, and go to the same events as every other Girl Scout. 

    We welcome all girls in grades K-12 and women and men over age 18. You can sign up every day, all year.
