Girl Scout Museum at Cedar Hill

Description Tour the Girl Scout Museum at Cedar Hill to learn how Girl Scouting has changed since Juliette Low founded the first troop in 1912. Museum exhibits include photographs, uniforms and much, much more!

In addition to hands-on activities, games, songs and stories, Brownie Girl Scouts can use their time in the museum to work toward the following Try-Its: Brownie Girl Scouts Around the World, Brownie Girl Scouts Through the Years, Girl Scout Ways, Her Story, Listening to the Past and People of the World.

Junior troops can make special arrangements to take a personalized tour or Tea with Juliette program. Museum staff can also assist Juniors working toward: Across Generations, Local Lore, Women Today, Girl Scouting Around the World and Girl Scouting in the USA.

Adults can take advantage of the archives, old town files, photos and news clippings. There are also old handbooks and songbooks for review and old Girl Scout and foreign uniforms for rent.
