Caring for Stranded Ocean Animals (Buzzards Bay)
How do you care for a sick or injured sea turtle, seal or dolphin? Earn your Oceanography badge and learn about marine animal rescue, rehabilitation and release through hands-on activities and specimen exploration at the National Marine Life Center. You will also learn about coastline ecosystems, food webs, the impact of ocean waves and currents, and careers in marine animal rescue and research. Participation in a Cape Cod Canal clean-up will expand your knowledge about healthy oceans and shorelines and the importance of conservation. Please note there is no guarantee of seeing live marine animals as part of this program. Patch included.
