Regional Delegate Application Form for Girls Ages 14-17

Delegates must be able to participate in training, two delegate meetings (in person or online), and attend the annual meeting. It is the Delegate's responsibility to be the liaison between the Board of Directors, Council Staff, and the constituents they represent. Terms are for 3 years.

Nominees are voted in and the nomination does not guarantee a Delegate or Alternate position. It is important that we have all communities in our jurisdiction represented.

The information in this application form will be used for biographical information on the ballots, planning for training, development of regional meeting agenda and priorities, and to help inform the future work of the governance committee. Thank you!


Able to be objective, representing the best interests of the Girl Scout Movement, not just a particular geographic area or program level

Understand the role of Governance in the organization or be trained

Able to participate as a member of a team

Able to speak in front of small and large groups

Willing to attend service unit or neighborhood meetings
