This endorsement will be used by the Volunteer Recognition Committee to consider the candidate's nomination for GSUSA and GSEM volunteer recognitions. GSEM and GSUSA volunteer recognitions require one nomination and a minimum of an additional 2 letters of endorsement describing the candidate's outstanding volunteer service beyond their volunteer position description.
Nominations for Outstanding Leader and Outstanding Volunteer will be forwarded to the appropriate Service Unit for approval and presentation and do not require additional endorsements.
After being approved by the Volunteer Recognitions Committee and the Board of Directors, GSUSA and GSEM volunteer recognitions are awarded to volunteers at our annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner. This year's dinner will be held March 11, 2010, 6:30 PM in Marlborough at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel. Dinner is $25 per person, recipients are free. Register for the dinner.
