The Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts (GSEM) is currently accepting applications for the 2013 Scholarship. Two scholarships ($1,000 each) will be awarded to two Girl Scouts who are graduating seniors in recognition of their community engagement and leadership. The scholarship is to be used toward post-high school study.
Your online application and two letters of recommendation (one from school, one from the community) are due on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 4:00 PM. Please read the full document (MS Word), which includes recommendation forms. All materials should be submitted online and by the deadline to be considered for the scholarship.

Describe a specific example of how you have "made the world a better place" through your civic engagement and/or volunteer activities and actions in Girl Scouting. This may include a community service project.
