A core part of the Girl Scout experience is about getting outside, connecting with nature, and taking healthy risks. On Saturday, October 28, we hosted 17 Girl Scouts families an unforgettable camp experience— complete with no-cost transportation, lunch, and activities.
The 49 participants were guided in archery by our trained program staff, and participated in a fun self-guided exploration of the camp property via a Juliette Gordon Low themed scavenger hunt. Additionally, attendees were able to enjoy mini pumpkin painting crafts and create macramé keychains. Finally, their day at camp was concluded with a campfire and lots of s’mores.
GSEMA is so proud to have been able to offer this unique experience at no-cost for interested families, both established Girl Scout families and those who were new to our organization.
